Smile
Life is so weird. Thinking about it makes me laugh.
Perhaps I should grow up a bit.
Reality. I am not sure that I have ever desired that before. I think I have been afraid of what consequences reality might present. I would rather base my perception of reality on my own desires. I’m quite honest about my life and my beliefs, and that is convenient, for I can easily mistake my honesty for reality. I have allowed myself to assume that being honest about something means...

Grand Design and Game of Life
The Grand Design. Easy four hour read about Hawking’s view on the M-Theory. I found it to be a briefer-A Briefer History of Time with the addition of superstring and multiverse theories.
Last chapter talked about John Conway’s Game of Life. I started ‘playing’ it. It’s not a game and there is no real point but it’s so addicting....

AstroDollar
My cup from Starbucks says:
“Every cup can make a difference. This paper cup from Starbucks Helped save more then 100,000 trees from being harvested last year.”
At first I pictured my little cup wearing a proportionally appropriate red cape with the words SUPER CUP floating directly above the lid. A bit of pride emerged at the thought that my single little cup saved...
AstroDollar
How do you take your coffee?
Generally I take mine black, but today while I was sitting in AstroDollar- my ridiculous name for Starbucks- I thought about changing it up a bit and trying some drinks that two of my friends generally order.
The first drink was coffee with a lot of creme and three packets of sugar. I rate this one a 4 out of 10. Way too much sugar for me especially since I...
HELP PROMOTE MOMENTUM AND ORU
Recently one of my dances was entered in a contest on facebook. Which ever video gets the most facebook ‘likes’ goes on to compete in a national competition. Winner gets a documentary made about their studio. The dance is set to an ORU worship song- Carry Now from the Revolution CD. This is the only Christian dance in this secular competition, and ORU is now being represented...

Games
The little games that people play. What if you stumbled upon one unexpectedly. Familiarity. You recognise that this is a game. You might not know the rules. But if you remain intertwined, you must play along. Oh and play you shall. Fulfilling an interest. Dice and Consequences. Your moves matter. Correlations. Inference to the best explanation. Smile. It is, after all, only a little game. ...
Anonymous asked: Ok, so my question is: Age? What relevance does it hold when finding finding friendship or even seeking love? Why are there so many social boundaries that make questioning, "How old are?" a top priority? There is such a thing as legality issues, but when have we ever needed members of a law firm to defend the most wondrous and most complexed case known to man? True happiness.

Selfish Prayer
*Insert Religious Disclaimer here*
Since I started living in Tulsa, I have noticed a frequent theme. The answer to almost everything is prayer. Honestly, I think that I am probably overly cynical about the word prayer because, like the word love, I feel that society misuses the term.
Love: “I love everyone because everyone is my sibling in Christ”- misuse of the word leads to a...

Multi-Tasking results in NSync.
I’ve been talking to a friend lately about how people my age are great multi-taskers, and how this skill comes at a price.
Today- while I was sitting in the psychology department- I was chatting on facebook, working on linear algebra homework, and texting a couple friends on my Evo. Originally I had Jack Johnson playing on my itunes. Well, with all my multi-tasking, I didn’t...

Boyfriend, a preferable description.

Yuck Day- With a single substitution.
Valentine’s day.
Thoughts:
1. I wonder how many people secretly want to break up with their partner but are waiting until after this day of love to do so.
2. I bet people are less likely to cheat on their partners today.
3. I wonder how many roses were stripped from their life source yesterday in preparation for today.
4. I wonder how many people will prematurely tell their partner...

Days of the Week (Disclaimer)
Our system for naming the days of the week really sucks. Babylonian/Greek lunar-months/gods. Different century. Different ways of nomenclature. I prefer something more relevant and less confusing. For example, assume it’s Tuesday. One looks at the calender to figure out the date. Would one not first be tempted to look at the second column because the name Tuesday sounds like it...

TELEVISION
What I have learned from TV: Putting one’s finger to one’s temple is apparently the cool thing to do if one is a male actor with brown hair. Also, one should note that it seems that Mr. Monk is afraid of fish (and he knows best).
Best Friend
Best. The word implies singularity. It means of the highest excellence, of the highest standard, the most advantageous… In a set of somethings only one thing can be the ‘best’. One may argue that best is a relative term, but this just means that something or someone will be considered to be the ‘best’ relative to one’s perception.. It does not remove the...

Orange Juice Chicken
So for lunch today I made steamed Green Beans and Grilled Chicken in a tangy orange juice sauce.
I really wanted to add flavour to my chicken, but I lacked normal sauces so I used the frozen orange juice that was in my freezer. :D Tangy. MMMMmmm… Good.

Sometimes I wonder. If you were to look at my bookshelf (which is 6 feet tall and completely full) you would see Hawking, Bonhoeffer, Lewis, Chaucer, Rowling (the bloomsbury editions), Greene, a Medical Dictionary, Grant’s Atlas of Anatomy, The Oxford English Dictionary (Ilustrated), The MLA Manual, the APA Manual, The Bible, books on Taoism, The Bar Book, the DSM IV, The Photo Book, The...
Euler Circuits and Such
Kaliningrad-formerly known as Konigsberg. I’m not sure how I arrived here, but clearly I’m starting at an arbitrarily chosen vertex. I applaud the town’s choice of building seven bridges; seven is a perfect number you know. If you do not believe me, try to pick up a handful of pencils- shock- seven. For some reason, and God only knows why, I feel that I must experience...
